Millions and millions. Comical poem number 777 by Angela Lansbury

Millions of leaves on all the trees

Millions of waves on all the sea

Millions of years of the trials

Before they perfected sweet me

Millions of stars, millions of cars

Millions of miles, we don't drive far

Millions of grains of sand, salt and sugar

Millions of cells in me, all together

Millions of brain cells, lots of gains

Millions of thoughts make aches and pains

Millions of thoughts, better again

Millions of thoughts, most just the same

Millions of thoughts, future and past

Millions of dreams, but dreams don't last

Millions of thoughts, wonders, and yet

I had one thought, which I forget.

-ends-
