The Forgotten Poem - comic poem 213 by Angela Lansbury

 I wish I could remember

What I thought when I was swimming

I'll have to create it

Just start at the beginning

People often ask you

'What was I thinking?'

I reply, 'I haven't a clue

I thought you were blindly drinking.'

How many great thoughts wandered off!

To sail through clouds unseen!

We all have lost a million thoughts

I guess you know what I mean.
