Travel Unravelled comic poem 218 Miss Hoarding Is Boarding comic poem 219

I am Miss Hoarding, anxiously boarding

I'm wearing three reversible dresses

I've multiple pockets, hand bags, tote handbags

Three packing lists, just adding more stresses

I interrogate  those I sit beside

'How was your meal, your drink?' I mean no harm

'Would you like my shellfish? I'll try your dish

May I save your bread?' It works like a charm

I like to show young flyers what to do

Like the button which lifts the seat arm rest

Let's just get a comb or toothbrush or two

A pen, playing cards, and then we can rest

I save for a sunny or rainy day

I squirrel old, torn, plastic bags away

A plastic bag could make you a rain hat

I bet you have never thought about that

No one should travel without spare buttons

I always carry two needles, ten threads

I have a pillow, lots of luggage keys

If I had a lorry I'd take spare beds

I have uses for an old pillowcase

I've had it so long, don't know where it's gone

I do have a place for everything

The problem is nothing is in its place
