People, Pets And Wildlife Which Make You Laugh comical poem number 585 by Angela Lansbury

What is the key to comedy

What is it makes you laugh?

Is it just the unexpected?

Like a cup moulded in half?

A stray cat waiting at your door

A

A giant hat on a bard

A toddler drops fruit on the floor

A giant pop-up birthday card

Is it a cat climbing curtains?

A grinning cyclist has a fall?

A walker who hits a lampost?

A fat cat falling off  wall?

A bird lurks and grabs your sandwich

A row of ducks crossing a road

Holding up a giant lorry?

A rudely croaking, grinning toad?

An owner and dog look alike!

A silly item out of place

Or flowers growing in a bike

Or twins pulling a funny face?

Life's often sad and serious

That's why we like to have a laugh

The reason your glass looks half full

Is me. I drank the other half.
